New RRP prices for Wafcol Dog Food

Wafcol have just released the new rrp prices that will be introduced from the 19th September 2012. So naturally we thought it would be a good idea to let customers know in advance if they wished to stock up. In addition to the price changes Wafcol Senior Salmon & Potato will be reduced in size from 15kg to 12kg just like the adult varieties and we presume at some stage the puppy will be reduced in size too, but we have not heard anything to say if this will happen anytime soon.

Arden Grange - RRP for New 12kg Bags

As discussed in May 2012 on our blog, Arden Grange will slowly introduce the new 12kg bags over the next few weeks and have told us the new recommended retail prices for the bags in following varieties, so we thought it was only right to let you know in advance.

Obviously we won't be charging the RRP prices, but the prices are set to rise by online pet food suppliers due in part to the reduction in bag size from 15kg to 12kg and the lamb & rice price has increased more than the other dog foods. So we suggest you stock up in the next couple of weeks, especially if you have several hungry dogs to feed whilst there are still 15kg bags available.

Arden Grange to change bag sizes

Like most premium dog food brands, arden grange will be changing from 15kg to 12kg bags, so we have decided to inform customers in advance using our new blog, so that customers can stock up to avoid any disappointment. After discussing the change with arden grange the rrp price per kg of the adult and puppy varieties will remain the same, except for the Arden Grange Lamb & Rice where the price will increase as unfortunately lamb is in short supply increasing the overall cost to manufacturer the dog food, so if you feed only the lamb and rice variety you are more likely to notice that your dog's monthly food cost has increased than the other varieties, so it might be worth considering a change to the adult chicken and rice instead!

As soon as we have further information regarding the change in bag sizes we will let you know, but we do expect the cost of Arden Grange Dog Food online to increase from all suppliers as the margin per bag will be reduced as a direct result of the change and the paper bags currently used will also change to allow the dog food to be exported more easily to other countries.

So if you have several dogs in your household it might be worthwhile stocking up, but we will let you know as soon as we have a firm date for the change!

Wafcol to discontinue the Original Senior Complete Dog Food

Wafcol have confirmed they plan to discontinue the Wafcol Senior Complete in September, but will continue to sale Wafcol Senior Salmon & Potato that is hypoallergenic and formulated for senior dogs aged 7 years or older. We are posting this on our blog to inform those customers that feed the original senior complete recipe, so that you can stock up before it's no longer available to avoid any disappointment.

We have plenty of stock, so please don't worry and will post any promotions we receive from wafcol on the blog for the senior complete as we believe that deals will be available to encourage sales of the discontinued line.
